Catkins is an original reduction wood engraving printed from a holly wood round. This year the wonderful team at Tortworth Arboretum in Gloucestershire invited myself and other local artists to make art in response to spending time in the woodland. I made 3 reduction wood engravings inspired by the sketches I created while exploring the arboretum. I engraved the block of boxwood using tradition hand tools and then printed the first layer before working back into the woodblock ready for the next layer. There are 5 layers in total.

This print is made using quality inks and archival materials. It comes in a white acid free double mount. Do not display in direct sunlight.
Each print is signed, dated and editioned on the front. It also comes with a certificate of authenticity.
This print comes wrapped in a paper print sleeve. If you prefer your print to arrive in a plastic print sleeve just leave a message stating that checkout.
