I created Inky Shadows Mini at the same time as making the larger Inky Shadows print. This wood engraving is both a reduction and multiblock print, it is made up of 5 layers of ink. It’s inspired by a poem I wrote which is about finding the light amongst the dark. I wanted this print to be high contrast so that the moon and stars would really stand out. It took 5 months to create this wood engraving which was printed from two blocks of lemonwood.
Each print comes with a letterpress printed Inky Shadows poem.

This print is made using quality inks and archival materials. It comes in a white acid free double mount. Do not display in direct sunlight.
Each print is signed, dated and editioned in pencil. It comes with a certificate of authenticity.
