This House Sparrow print is an original wood engraving. I engraved the design into boxwood using traditional hand tools, I then printed the yellow/green layer using my antique Albion Press. Next I engraved into the block again removing the background to leave the catkins and house sparrow. I then inked up a dark blue-green and printed another layer over the top.

All prints will vary slightly due to their hand printed nature.

This print is made using quality inks and archival materials. It comes in a white acid free double mount. Do not display in direct sunlight.

Each print is signed, dated and editioned on the front. It also comes with a certificate of authenticity.

This print comes wrapped in a paper print sleeve. If you prefer your print to arrive in a plastic print sleeve just leave a message stating that checkout.
