This original wood engraving was created en plein air, I engraved and printed it in Tintagel while on a self directed residency in Cornwall. I engraved a block of lemon wood using tradition hand tools and then printed the first layer before working back into the woodblock ready for the next layer. There are 3 layers in total and I engraved and printed it in a day. I enjoy working outside, I feel it allows me to work more freely and really take in my subject. The downside to working like this is that when the image is printed it prints in reverse so please be aware of this.

This print is made using quality inks and archival materials. It comes in a white acid free double mount. Do not display in direct sunlight.
Each print is signed, dated and editioned on the front. It also comes with a certificate of authenticity.
This print comes wrapped in a paper print sleeve. If you prefer your print to arrive in a plastic print sleeve just leave a message stating that checkout.
