I created this original wood engraving white sat beneath North Nibley's Tyndale Monument in the Cotswolds. Engraving straight into the wood from life has given this piece great depth and movement. I completed it in 3 sittings in January 2020. Taking the block back to my print studio I printed it on my 150 year old Albion press. When a wood engraving is printed the image on the block is reversed so the view from the monument is printed backwards.
